The benefits on assuring the Declaration of Tourist Utility are

* The integrated buildings are exempt of annual property tax (IMI – Imposto Municipal sobre Imóveis)

for 7 years;
* The transmissions are exempt of transfer tax (IMT – Imposto Municipal sobre Transacçőes), and the stamp

tax (Imposto de Selo) is reduced to 1/5 of its value;
* There is an exemption or temporary reduction of the taxes

decurrent of licenses charged by civil governments and by IGAC (Inspecçăo Geral das Actividades Culturais).
